Soul Emotion

Since in 2006 year december Soul Emotion start working great/talanted singer/songwriter Lelde Barbāne, Jānis Danevičs-saxophnes/manager, Andžejs Grauds-drummer, Pēteris Liepiņš- el.bass, Paul Murashov-keyboards and Dj Aspirin-vinills/samplers. Band leaders in project Soul Emotion are Jānis Danevich and Lelde Barbāne. Then we start work to first record in studio Sounddivision and producer is Deniss Pashkevich, 2007/08 who was more in neo-soul/acidjazz and funk music.

The musical relationships the band has developed, from the aforementioned artists to Stewie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Angie Stone, Robert Glasper, Joshua Redman, Kenny Garrett, Fred Wesley, The Roots, Maceo Parker and so many others, speak volumes about both how versatile these talented musicians are. Jazz, hip-hop, rock, soul, funk, R & B, Blues – musically, there is not much the band hasn’t done.

The band has traveled to nearly every corner of the world, touring Baltic states, Scandinavia, nearly all of Europe . Festivals where Soul Emotion was played: Rigas Ritmi, Saulkrasti jazz, music/ art festival Bildes 08 and Visionjazz festival (EST).

Now the record label for Soul Emotion is Zepirats Jazz music agency who worked in Baltic States.
